What is breast milk & DNA jewelry?
This is a unique keepsake crafted using your very own breast milk or other DNA elements (think hair, placenta, umbilical stump, etc.). Each person's milk is sterilized, preserved, dried & ground to a fine powder, and then infused into resin. Each piece is carefully crafted to last a lifetime, assuming proper aftercare and precautions are carefully followed.
What is your return/refund/cancellation policy?
Each order is specially handcrafted and extremely personal to each individual, therefore I am unable to offer returns on any items. Once you place an order, I require a 20% cancellation fee, which only applies if I have not yet begun processing your order. If for any reason you find yourself unhappy with your piece at any time after receiving it, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. I am always happily willing to assess each individual situation to come to a place of resolution when approached with patience and kindness. Do you save any leftover milk?
Absolutely! When volume allows, I freeze (and indefinitely store) a small portion of your milk before beginning my preservation process. Additionally, I label and safely store all leftover preserved milk from your order for 12 months past the preservation date. This milk can be used for future orders or in the case of remakes and repairs. Please visit the order status page or contact us for inquiries regarding leftover milk.
How long will it take to recieve my order?
Once your personal inclusions are received, is estimated that your order will be shipped out to you in anywhere from around 8-12 weeks (for inclusions received on/after 09/22/23). Please remember that this is merely an estimate and is subject to change at any time without warning.
What are my payment options?
I accept all major debit & credit cards, as well as PayPal, Sezzle, Klarna, and Affirm.
How much milk should I send you?
Please send me around 15 ml (0.5 ounces) of milk. This amount is typically enough to make 3-4 small pieces. I kindly ask that you don't send me over 30 ml (1 ounce), unless it is to be used for lotion that you've ordered or otherwise approved by me prior. If you aren't able to send off much milk, please note that I can still work with as little as 2-3 ml!
How do I send my milk or other personal elements to you?
Please, send me either milk that has already reached room temperature. Fresh, frozen for 10 years, left out on the counter for days -as long as there is no mold present, it is completely acceptable to send me and won't affect the quality of your keepsake! Please also ensure that you double bag it in milk storage bags and label both bags with your full name and order and/or invoice number. You will receive an email with detailed instructions on how/where to send any of your personal elements after placing your order.
Won't it go bad if I don't keep it cold?
Nope! You obviously wouldn't want to feed this milk to your precious babe, but it is still perfect for our purposes
How do I know where to send my milk or other personal elements?
You should receive an email containing this information shortly after completing your purchase. If for any reason you don't receive this email, please feel free to contact us and I will be happy to assist you!
Can I send you the last of my milk or other personal elements?
Please, please, DO NOT send me anything that you cannot replace!!! I cannot be held responsible for any personal elements that may become lost or damaged during transit.
